Clinical Therapies
Our clinical therapies programme is a nurse-led care service that provides a wide range of assessment and treatment services. Some services require referral by a nurse practitioner, physician, naturopathic doctor or funding provider (e.g. life insurance providers).
Infusion Therapies
Service Summary:
We provide a wide range of infusion therapies on behalf a wide range of partners in your care. Your medication may have been prescribed by your family physician, specialist, naturopathic doctor or other authorised prescriber. Most medications with the exception of cytotoxic chemotherapy agents can be delivered out of our infusion therapies service.
Example Services:
- Intravenous Nutrition Therapies (e.g. iron and other mineral/vitamins, intravenous fluids, Meyers’ cocktail).
- Biological/Immunotherapy infusions and injections (commonly used to treat autoimmune conditions e.g. multiple sclerosis, inflammatory bowel disease, rheumatoid arthritis).

Primary Care Paramedic
Advanced Nursing Foot Care
Service Summary:
Aimed at those with more advanced foot care needs or higher levels of risk (e.g. people with diabetes), a nurse will:
Assess your feet – Evaluating the structure of the feet, skin condition, circulation, and sensation.
Treat foot conditions – including trimming calluses, corns, and ingrown toenails, and treating foot warts and other skin problems, joint mobilisation and massage for foot pain.
Educate – discuss prevention and management, and providing recommendations for self-care.
Provide ongoing care – Working with other health care professionals and assistants to keep you mobile and reduce the risk of foot complications.
Example Services:
- Nail cutting for those with nail conditions that do not allow for management with standard nail tools or those with specific significant risk factors (e.g. diabetes).
- Wound management.
- Laser treatment for skin and nail conditions.
- Ingrown toe nail management and nail growth correction.

Wound Ostomy and Continence Care
Service Summary:
A specialist nurse with advanced knowledge and extensive experience in this speciality will assess your needs and work with you to develop a management plan and deliver the care you need. If you have wounds that are slow to heal, or skin and wound complications from conditions like peripheral arterial disease, varicose veins, diabetes or heart failure, we can help. If you have an ostomy or other challenges with bladder or bowel management such as incontinence, we can help.

- Advanced skin and wound assessments
- Wound management for complex wounds or wounds at risk of delayed healing
- Oedema management including manual lymphatic drainage and limb decongestion
- Compression therapy
- Continence assessment and management support
- Ostomy assessment and management support

Clinical Skin Care and Medical Aesthetics
Service Summary:
A specialist nurse can work with you to help manage your dermatological needs and help with things like eczema and psoriasis care. With expertise in advanced medical aesthetics, using techniques, technologies and chemical, specific skin concerns can be targeted and treated to improve your overall skin health and appearance. Whether you have concerns about your facial appearance (e.g. acne, rosacea, fine lines, wrinkles, dry or oily skin, scarring) or similar problems on the rest of your body, talk to us about treatment options.

- Skin health assessment
- Skin therapies including laser, intense pulsed light, microneedling, dermaplaning, chemical peels
- Neuromodulator injections (e.g. Dysport, Botox) for help with management of fine lines and wrinkles on the face

Dental Hygiene
Service Summary:
A dental hygienist focuses on preventing and treating gum disease and oral health issues by cleaning teeth, removing plaque and tartar, applying preventative treatments like sealants and fluoride, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. We can also obtain x-rays, assist with emergencies. To ensure seamless care, we coordinate with your dentist or refer you to a dentist for management of your dental health needs.

- Cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Teeth whitening
- Provide care plan recommendations
- Perform follow-up assessment and care prescribed by a dentist

Insurance assessment and treatment services
Service Summary:
We work with insurance agencies to assess patients following injuries or for obtaining insurance policies. We must receive instruction from an insurance company prior to providing care. Please discuss your needs with us. If you need to make a claim or are seeking insurance services, please note that we do not provide these services and you need to speak to your insurer or an insurance broker.
